Most astrology apps pick a paragraph from a list. This one works out where the Sun and Moon really were when you were born, and where they are today.

What that means

The sidereal zodiac with the Lahiri ayanamsa — the Vedic one, fixed to the stars.
Your moon sign, nakshatra and pada, your rising sign, and your Vimshottari dasha.
A daily reading built from Tara Bala and Chandra Bala — your chart against today's sky, not a generic sign reading.
Every reading shows its working, so you can check it against any panchang.

Where the numbers come from

Positions are computed from standard astronomical algorithms and agree with the published reference values to under an arcsecond for the Moon. Makar Sankranti lands on 14 January, as it should. Nothing is rounded to the nearest sign and nothing is looked up in a table.

Privacy

No advertising, no analytics, no tracking, and your data is never sold. Your birth details and messages are encrypted, and you can download or permanently delete everything from inside the app. The privacy policy says plainly what is and is not true — including the parts most apps dress up.
